EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

There are many activities throughout the year which the PTA hosts, plans, and volunteers at.  We do many service projects as well as fundraisers for the school.  Here is a list of the annual events that PTA is a part of along with the description of the event below.  Check out the calendar of events for the year, on our homepage!

POPCORN FRIDAYS
As a service, the PTA offers Popcorn Fridays once a month where students and faculty can purchase a bag of popcorn to enjoy. Popcorn is 50 cents/bag/student on popcorn day.  Each month, volunteers come in to help pop, bag, and deliver the popcorn to the classrooms.

HOLIDAY PARTIES
Each year the school has two holiday parties: Halloween and Valentine's Day.  Each teacher and/or room parent will plan their own activities for their classroom. Due to district/school guidelines, there can only be 3 parent volunteers per classroom for each party. The room parent attends both parties and the other two volunteers are chosen by the teacher.  The PTA supplies a drink and a snack for each student and delivers to each classroom the morning of the parties. The parties start at 2:00.

ELECTION DAY BAKE SALE
Each November the PTA hosts a bake sale at Manry Park during Election Day.  We send out a form to all the students asking for baked goods donations to sell for that day.  We also sell coffee, donuts, cookies, and other delicious items.

SKATING PARTY
Each year the PTA hosts two skating parties held at United Skates of America in Wickliffe.  The PTA receives a portion of the admission price at each party, which is used for student incentives and activities.

HOLIDAY CRAFT EXTRAVAGANZA
The Holiday Extravaganza is a holiday event with local vendors.  Local vendors set up at our school to offer a variety of items for purchase.  Vendors all have items under $5.00 for little ones to get special gifts for their loved ones.  We also have personal shopping elves to help the children pick out their special gifts.

BOOK FAIR
The book fair is a week long event held in January inside the school library.  Students can shop for books during their scheduled library time. Thursday night is the Principal's Bedtime Story event where the Principals will read stories to the students while they enjoy a snack before bedtime.  This is always a hit and we welcome students to wear their pajamas.
